Flashback Friday

I have noticed some other blogs that do "flashback friday" and those blogs all have some cute and sometimes sentimental pictures that are posted for their flashback. When I was going through the pictures that I had available to me I stumbled across this one of Ryan and his dad that we were given a few months ago. I have decided that I want to use this blog as a journal so when I saw this picture I wanted to post it first.

Ryan's dad's name is Barry. Ryan always called him Pop. Barry is one of the most kind and funniest men I have ever met. He was always joking around and trying to make people laugh. He was very accepting of me when I met him and always made me feel welcome into the Bastian family. He couldn't stop telling me how smart his second son Ryan was and that his son Ryan was going to be an engineer some day. Barry past away a few years ago and that is one thing that makes this picture so special. We don't have many pictures of Ryan and Barry together especially where Ryan is older. Thank you Krikit for sending it to us. It means a lot to me and I know it means a lot to Ryan.
