Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween!
I know you are all probably tired of so many pictures these last few days, but this blog is a record for us as well. SO just think of it as making up for my long month of blogging slackerness!
For Paxton's birthday we decided to head out to the pumpkin patch. Pax had to wear his Spider-man costume, which I loved. He is starting to have quite the imagination and walking around places where people actually call you Spider-man has been so cool to him. King of the hill, he's showing me his muscles up there
Gauge kept trying to push the pumpkins up whenever they fell, he finally just layed on about three of them.Mom and Spider-manMy handsome Gauge-pondering just before the hayride. I think he looks like Ryan here.the Pumpkin Photo shoot.
woo-hoo!

They actually let us just pick a bunch of pumpkins. We came home with about six altogether-so today we did a little pumpkin carving...well Mommy didthis was my first attempt...Paxton was making a silly face for me, but don't let that fool you-he was pretty grossed out. I ended up digging the guts out too. Paxton's pumpkin
Next on the list, we had an activity for Gauge's birthday. That's where we did the trick or treating. For Halloween this year I am working- so I was wondering how to go about doing Halloween. Then, while wondering about it out loud at work, a friend of mine let me know about this cool place to take your kids Trick or treating called Trick or Treat Street. So we headed out there yesterday to do our trick or treating and to have our Halloween fun. I went out with both of my sisters and Heather's little girl Kyra.
Above you have us with the one and only Captain Jack Sparrow and one of his pirate's on the black pearl--pretty cool!I hope you all had a wonderful Halloween!

These are such cute pictures! We missed going there this year, bummer. I love that Paxton is all decked out in his Spider-Man outfit. Happy late Birthday to your boys. It looks like they both had great birthdays. Wow! Those cakes are AMAZING! Seriously, that takes some serious talent to make something like that. I could never do it in a million years. What an awesome mom you are! I love how you wrote messages to the boys. They were both so sweet and very touching. Kids really do change your life, don't they!?

Okay, and what is up with that first pumpkin you carved? That's hilarious! Mine would have looked even worse though.
