I don't know what it is, but right now I am totally beat down tired-and I still have this little gitty feeling inside like its the holidays and Christmas is already here.
I couldn't even come straight home from work-I had to stop at the store to buy cinnamon rolls and some meat for a roast. Standing outside, even though it should be cold, its warm and silent, almost telling us that its going to snow and right now, I almost can't even wait for snow--I said ALMOST!
I think that my having kids makes the holidays so much more fun. I remember driving home from Salt Lake one year with Ryan. We were coming home from my parents on Christmas. This was way back before we had kids. While driving home, I began remembering that during the holidays on drives home from Salt Lake my family would sing Christmas songs-so naturally I decided thats exactly what we were going to do.
To my surprise, I don't know why I was surprised, Ryan wasn't having any. I said to him something like"I can't wait until we have kids. When we have kids, I'm singing Christmas songs everywhere we go!" (I know, real mature)

Thats the difference though, now that we have kids, its more fun singing Christmas songs and talking about Santa Claus. I can't wait to take Paxton to see Santa. I want to watch movies inside and drink hot chocolate. I guess that today is going to have to be a practice day.
So-I am off to find a recipe for this Roast, wish me luck! I hope you all feel the holiday cheer that I am already feeling. Have a happy Sunday!

I know it's too late, but I have some de-lish roast recipes next time you make one! Your post is so cute...I think I just may watch a festive show tonight! Sadly Cody is at work, but I will settle in with some popcorn to watch 'White Christmas' and sing along with all the holiday songs!
I am so excited for the holidays too! It is so much fun with kids!
