Today we were home making breakfast when Ryan walks in the door from work. I couldn't believe my eyes. I haven't seen this guy in two days. Usually he stays up for me at 1am so that we can talk at all. We joked a little bit about how it was nice to see eachother in the day light.
Turns out Ryan wasn't home from work but had a job pretty close by, so we all ran outside to watch Daddy.
Paxton's cousin Kyra was over so it was a pretty big day for him. Here he is breaking a twig to show you how strong he is
Ryan's slinger truck
I have never watched Ryan at work. I have visited before but never actually seen him use the remote to drive his truck and to sling. It was pretty cool to watch and he laid down the soil almost perfectly. His boss came along with him to help him rake.
The boys loved it. It was actually pretty hard to keep Gauge from running to his Dad while he was here.
After Ryan finished on this job he came to our house and filled up a ditch we have wanted filled for YEARS!
When Ryan did get home from work today he went to work on the ditch. Paxton couldn't wait to help.
He was pretty serious with that shovel!

What a treat to have Daddy show up unexpected. Paxton may very well be the strongest man-boy in the world, his world at least.
What a fun thing to be able to watch Daddy work. My son just eats that stuff up too. How cool is that machine he works with. Never seen one of those in action. Yay filled ditch!
That slinger is so amazing! Got a setting for flinging laundry back into my kid's closets? Man, there is no greater toy for kids than a pile of dirt in the backyard! You got hours of fun there... you won't even mind the dirty laundry.
Those are some lucky customers to have such quality work done. How far do you think that would sling me? Happy day for the whole Bastian family.

What a great suprise! I am sure that the boys had a great time watching "Dad at work", I sm sure that you had a great time looking the the "hotty at work" next door. Congrats on filling the ditch. Nice work Paxton.
Hi guys! It's been too long since I've been on y'alls blog. Looking at all the pictures around your house and inside, I can see the changes you've all made. It looks so nice. We miss y'all so much. The boys are getting so big. We will be out there in November for a wedding at Thanksgiving time. Hopefully y'all are around so we can see you.
