It's been awhile since I have posted any pictures of Shelby. To be totally honest, I haven't had batteries in my camera so I don't have any. I do have this one that I love-Our sweet little angel!
Shelby is getting big. She is three weeks old now and at her two week appointment she weighed 8lbs 7ounces. She has grown quite a bit! She is still so sweet. She only cries when she is hungry and she loves to be held. She gets more beautiful every day and we cannot believe we have been so blessed!
We made another trip to Idaho this last week so that I could meet with Ada County again. We also got our FJ60 up there and had a chance to see Sarah this time. She made me so excited to move again! I can't wait to live closer to Dan and Sarah, we love them so much!
Not sure how my polygraph went. I can tell you that I did not lie, so I should have passed..right?! It was a gruelling 3 hour ordeal though where they interviewed me and had me tell them everything that I could think of about myself. I couldn't help but come out of the three hour interview feeling like the worst person in the world because that's what they were looking for...any dirt on me that they could find. There really wasn't a lot of bad, I am a pretty good person--I think. Ryan thinks so too!
I can't help but find myself thinking of work at Provo. I miss everyone there and whenever I hear the sirens from either police or fire going to a call I can't help but think of what is going on inside of dispatch. I miss everyone there so much. Its going to be hard to change jobs and be somewhere else. I read comments from some of the girls at work and I automatically tear up because I miss you all so much.
I feel so blessed to have been able to work at such a great place.
On top of that Ryan and I have felt the spirit so strongly in our lives as we have prepared for such a large change. Everything has come together for us and we really feel like we are doing the right thing in the eyes of the Lord. We might be gone by next weekend, we will see how the weather is. We have had a lot of people ask about renting our house which really seems to be a good option since the market is down.
Its been so wonderful having time with my family and having time to sleep and relax. I was pretty uptight when I was first home and not working, I would like to think I am a lot more relaxed now! Ryan has been there for me as I have adjusted to a new baby and to being home, he is so great!
We were able to see my parents this last weekend and my sisters too. Its going to be hard to leave them although my parents are toying with the idea of moving north too. I would really like that! Here are some pictures that I have taken around our house lately so that I will have them to look at later. I will give another update when we have more! We love you all!

Aw Whit! I love the updates. We miss you at work but it is obvious you are going to love your new life in Idaho. And if you ever get real lonely, take a weekend - come visit and I give you my permission as a supervisor you can do a sit along any time you want. :) Your little girl is an angel!
Thanks Heather!! See, tears! I miss you guys so much!
Wow you have been busy! and a new dog! You're a good women! My poor kids will have to come and play with your dog! That might mean a trip to ID. We love you!
Great Pictures!!! Thanks for the update
I was just telling the girls at work today how much I miss you!! It's not the same here since you've left.
Whit, you ARE the best and sweetest person ever! Don't worry about the polygraph, you will pass with flying colors. The questions are designed to make you sweat and doubt yourself because they WANT to see a reaction from you. But killing bugs on your windshield and jaywalking to get across the street to school are probably the worst you have ever done...you are an angel pure and simple. (and by the way you look fanatastic on Sarah's blog)
Love the artistic tree pictures and sweet Shelby in her bouncy chair! Kiss her three times for Aunt K.
Whit - every time I read your blog it makes me feel ambitious and happy. You are such a positive person and your family is so great, it totally makes my day! I will be sad to see you go! Hopefully I'll get to see you before your final move, I hope everything goes smoothly during the next week!
