The Pigeon Enemy

Every time that we go to Dan and Sarah's house Paxton has to scare the pigeons out of the shop.

Gauge goes with him and sometimes they get there sneaky enough that the pigeons don't know they are coming.

They let me go with them this time! We ran down to the shop and I felt like a kid again.

There is something about the fresh Autumn air that makes everything feel fun. It was cold out and we were running together. I loved every minute of it! When Paxton got down to the shed I kept telling him to sneak. Tip toe tip toe tip toe, like Mickey Mouse! They tried...

but as you can see in this picture, the birds took off before they even got close.

I felt so bad, I didn't say a word. The boys got right up to the door before they ran in with arms a blazin'

Luckily they came back and landed on the roof. That's when we tried it again and we got them! I think we scared them good! They didn't come back this time!

There is nothing like being part of the game with your kids. Its been a long time since I have been the one running around with the boys. Usually I let Ryan run around with them while I hold Shelby and watch, which is also great. But this time I felt like a kid again. Something came alive. It was so much fun!

Lately I have been thinking about how happy I am to be where I am. First, I am not pregnant! That is awesome! Second, I am in Idaho, love it! Third, I have three little kids! What the?!

They are all in good phases too. Paxton tries to help with everything. Gauge is out of his terrible two's and Shelby, well that girl just smiles.

Its a pretty damn good life!
