This Thanksgiving was Great! For some unknown reason my work gave me the day before Thanksgiving off so that I would not be sleeping the day of. Its something that I was really appreciative of but just in case it was a mistake, I didn't say a word!
We went up to my parents house for Thanksgiving and were able to see most of my family. My brother John and his family couldn't make it, he is a big law school man who is half way through and couldn't get out of Washington. But I was able to see Chris and his family, especially sweet little Kaiya who only made us that much more hungry for a baby girl. I got to see Heather, Annie, Wes and my parents. We had a great time.
Being a long weekend we found some time to hit our favorite park. This park is way out in the boonies so Ryan and I get a drive, and we get total seclusion-no one else is anywhere around. We get the time all to ourselves.
This is Paxton on his way down!

Later during the week we decided to do some Christmas activities. I decided that it was time to make an attempt at Sugar cookies. I don't know if you guys remember last years cookies...but... this year went much better. We even got Gauge to help, I think he liked it!
We had a lot more Santa cookies than Angel cookies which concerned me at first. Then it hit me, Santa is three times the size.
Watching their creation come out of the dough
LOOK! They were all blended together last year. This year you CAN TELL WHAT THEY ARE! They were good too. We have all been craving them since!
This was the only picture I could get him to take. When I said pose, he froze...Later that night the boys had their wrestle time with Dad. Paxton has a hard time getting to bed without wrestling with his Daddy. Its hard for me on the nights Ryan is gone because he continually asks where Dad is so that they can play. You can see why, its pretty intense.
they laugh their guts out...literally
We hope you all had a wonderful Holiday!
