Family time

I got to spend a whole day with my boys
Sunday I didn't have to sleep all day because I was able to have Saturday off for the funeral. So we had a family day. Ryan didn't touch his homework and we didn't do one responsible thing at all. It was so nice to do nothing else but spend time together! We took off to one of our favorite parks after a drive. There were some balls left on the playground so we got to work. Gauge got the big ball and the rest of us played BasketballRyan showed Paxton the basics
Then he schooled him! That's when I got onto the court and of course there are no pictures to document this because I was playing, but I schooled Ryan! True story- although he might have a different story...
Gauge pretty much got tired of Mom and Dad spending time together so he took off on his own.
This is where we found him. He took it upon himself to find his own park and he played on his own
Ryan and I got the hint and we hit the playground with the boys
One of Paxton's favorite games with Ryan is to sneak up on him while he is sitting on the slide, slide down and get him!
We were out for some time. I didn't get enough pictures. The weather was so beautiful it was therapeutic! We were pretty much outside all day. We went for a walk, spent a little time with my cute cousin Carson, had dinner together and then we set in after dark to color.
We colored some Turkey's for Thanksgiving and made another count down chain for the big November holiday.
I know your not supposed to pick favorites when your a parent, but isn't Gauge's turkey AWESOME?! (Its the one on the left) Notice the skill and that there was no going out of the lines! Yeah that's right! He is only 2

Wow....I seems like maybe he had another hand in coloring???

What a fun time to just hang out and do what ever you feel like. I think that Dan and I MIGHT be able to do that in about a month or so!

You know I have come to realize that the small things are what count in life...I think they make the best memories too.
