Spotlight

Paxton was the spotlight at school today. They had me fill out some questions about him like what is his favorite animal, what does he like to do, what is the best thing about him and what is his favorite story. They also asked us to bring pictures of Paxton for the other kids to see.He was crowned so that everyone would know that today is his day He chose a sticker and a toy for himself and for Gauge. Ryan and I were in front together at first. Ryan was really good at getting the kids involved in what we had to say. He showed them all of the pictures of Paxton riding his motorcycle and in his Skeleton PJs with Gauge and wrestling with his Dad and then he put them up on the board.
I explained to them that the best part about Paxton is his personality because he is such a peace maker and it is so important to him to be a good boy. His teachers agreed.
He told me his favorite animal was a Tiger but when I asked him in front of his class he said a cow...that got everyone laughing. His favorite story right now is the 500 hats of Bartholomew Cubin. Then the class all sang happy birthday to him. It was nice to be part of this special day for him at school. They are going to read his favorite story at nap time and be singing to him all day. He was really shy up in front of the class. His teacher said that isn't like him at all. I had actually never seen him so shy before. I think its because he has a crush on the little blond on the front row...Sydney. I don't know, can you guys see her?! What do you think???
We love you Paxton. We hope you had a wonderful day!!

He shouldn't be tongue-tied in front of a pretty blond as he has you around everyday Whitney. That's so nice he got to be B-day King for the day!
