This weekend Ryan and I decided to hit the canyon to see the changing leaves. The last couple of years we seem to have missed them. If you hit the right time the leaves are vibrant and beautiful. We usually hit the canyon in October and we're always just too late. This time we went early and were very pleased with the results.
This is something that I will have a hard time leaving if we were to ever move. I have known these mountains and this type of fall my whole life. To me there is nothing quite so beautiful as Autumn in Provo.
The boys didn't seem to be too interested. We would point out what was out of the window while driving up the canyon and Paxton would nod, but I don't think he had any idea what we were talking about.

When we got up the canyon we tried to find a park. At Vivian park there is a tiny playground but being Sunday it was packed. So we headed up further to find another one.
The boys were pretty excited to get out and play,
we had a frisbee and some energy.
The whole park was breathtaking. Although in this particular picture, it's Ryan whose breathtaking!
The boys playing frisbee. Gauge kept trying to put the frisbee ON Paxton My favorite picture!
My favorite picture...wait Since there wasn't a playground at the park we visited we decided we would go find a new one for Paxton and Gauge. We found the new Sherwood park which wasn't too bad, just really small.
Paxton is trying to teach Gauge how to climb the wall here, surprisingly Gauge couldn't quite make it all the way.
In this picture Gauge is on his way to get me. He comes and grabs my hand and pulls me where he needs me to go. He gets me for everything. Usually when Ryan and Paxton are playing or have gone somewhere, instead of just following he will come to get me and take me to where they are. He never forgets to bring his mom. They are both going to be such good brothers to Shelby.
